Below is a die that uses an arbor with special cam drivers for sections that wrap a flat pre-blanked part around the arbor doing a full 360 degree form in one stroke of the press saving at least three offline operations even if it is a single hit hand fed die.
The following video is of a multi-station progressive sliding arbor form die that we designed that produces a 360 degree form around an arbor driven by a linear actuated cam drive plate. The cam drive plate allows the control of multiple arbors and slides with only one linear actuator, keeping them in sync and being triggered by a single press cam for timing.
