We here at Die Design Innovation are seasoned Die Designers using SOLIDWORKS and Logopress. Our experience here at DDI lies between 6000 ft. below the earths surface, and extending up into the stratosphere. Having worked in various industries including, but not limited to, Aviation, Aeronautics, Automotive, Appliances, Air Conditioning, Oil Exploration Tooling, Plate Heat Exchangers, Gun Accessories, and Medical Devices.

- 2015: 5 years in Tool Design with SOLIDWORKS and Logopress
- 2006: 9 years in 3D Tool Design using Pro-E in the Plate Heat Exchanger tooling industry
- 2000: 6 years in the Product Design field in 3D using Pro-Engineer (versions 2000i and up)
- 1998: 2 years designing Tool & Die in AutoCAD in 2D
- 1996: 2 years in software development, installation and training for a major player in Die Design software add-in package for the AutoCAD platform
- 1986: 10 years in the CNC related spectrum of the trade including WEDM programming and operation, VMC programming and operation as well as developing interfaces for CNC machines for automation of DNC and some designing in AutoCAD 2.6 and up and also Building Oil Exploration Tooling
- 1976: 10 years building dies in commercial private sector Tool & Die shops
- 1972: 4 year apprenticeship program in Tool & Die working in a factory shop doing typical maintenance, repair, and building
Personal Achievements
- Created my own Die Design Software add-in for AutoCAD
- Published 4 times in Stamping Journal trade magazine as a contributing author on various subjects such as 3D design and Innovative Designing
- Involvement in continuous research to further my knowledge of all aspects of Die Design including electronics, mechanics and the interfacing of the two
